Electroencephalography (EEG) unit offers a neuroimaging technique to record electrical activity of the brain. It is typically noninvasive with the electrodes placed along the scalp, measures voltage recording of the brain’s spontaneous electrical activity over a period of time, most often used to diagnose seizure.
It is also used to diagnose sleep disorders, depth of anesthesia, coma, encephalopathies, and brain death. It is likewise a method of diagnosis for brain tumors, stroke and other focal brain disorders performed by well trained EEG technologist and interpreted by our Adult and Pediatric Encephalographers.
